Your Ruminati emissions report will provide you with an estimate of your property’s Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, along with an estimate of total and net emissions, and sequestration. If you have Ruminati PRIME, you’ll also be able to access advanced intensity metrics as well as forecast future emissions and see how you can move the dial to improve your footprint.

Creating your emissions report

Create your emissions report: Enter the data from the checklist into the Ruminati tool and create your farm emissions report.

If you have Ruminati PRIME, model emissions reduction scenarios: Enter your preferences of ‘avoid’ and/or ‘absorb’ initiatives that can help shift the dial on your total CO2e emissions.

What will my emissions report look like?

Your Ruminati emissions report will give you your total on-farm emissions, total sequestration and net on-farm emissions estimates, along with a breakdown of your Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for the financial year. With Ruminati PRIME, you’ll also be able to view intensity metrics for beef, sheep meat, wool, and grain on your farm enterprise.

Using your Ruminati emissions report, you’ll be able to see exactly where your farm emissions are being generated, helping you to evaluate the sustainability of your farming practices. If you’ve got a Ruminati PRIME account, you’ll be able to use this data as a baseline to measure against your own emissions reduction targets and create a tailor-made emissions reduction plan.

Integrations

Ruminati makes things easy with several handy integrations on our platform:

  • Agriwebb: Automatically pre-fill your farm data, including mapping your farm, livestock headcount, and weight.
  • SB-GAF: Upload a previously completed SB-GAF spreadsheet to prefill data for previous years.
  • AuctionsPlus: When you complete an AuctionsPlus livestock assessment, your PIC will be automatically checked for a baseline on the Ruminati platform. If a baseline has been completed, a “Ruminati Climate Assessed" status will appear on the AuctionsPlus listing. This feature only shares the baseline status (yes/no) and no farm or emissions data. You can opt out of this automation in your Ruminati account.
