Croppers using Agworld: there's now a faster way to get your data into Ruminati

Written by Ruminati Team on June 25, 2026

If you're a cropping operation already using Agworld, there's a good chance the data you need for your Ruminati emissions report is already sitting there. The integration between the two platforms means you can pull your cropping inputs directly into Ruminati without re-entering anything (which for most croppers is the part of the process that takes the longest). Here's how it works:

In Agworld

Log into your Agworld account and head to Reporting, then Custom Reports. Click the green New Report button and give it a name- something like Emissions Report: Your Farm Name works well.
Under Report Sections, select Activities and click Add. Then set your data grouping in this exact order (the import won't work properly in Ruminati if the order is wrong):

1. Production Year
2. Season
3. Farm
4. Crop List
5. Activity ID
6. Product Category
7. Input
8. Active Ingredient

You can drag and drop these into the right order using the four horizontal bars beside each one.

Under "What data do you want to view?", select Weight of Active. Then under Additional Filters, choose Activity Status: Done, Activity Types: Actual Activity, and Input Types: Product. Click Done, then Next, then Save & Preview. When you're ready, hit Run Report.

Type in the production year that matches your Ruminati reporting year, then click Export to download the CSV to your computer.

In Ruminati

Head to the Cropping section of your emissions report and click Import Agworld Data. Upload the CSV you just downloaded, then check that the crop types match those used in Ruminati and enter the area sown in hectares for each crop.

There are a few things you'll still need to add manually: your production system, average yield in tonnes per hectare, the percentage of crop burned if any, and your production data on the Production page. Everything else comes through from the import.

A note on Agworld subscription tiers

The custom report export requires an Agworld Grower Pro plan or above. If you're on a lower subscription, Agworld offers a short term temporary upgrade, just reach out to their support team at support@agworld.com and they'll get you sorted.

Each year after that

The good news is you only need to set this up once. Each year, just update the production year on your Agworld report and drop the new export into Ruminati. For an exercise that most croppers would rather spend as little time on as possible, that's about as close to a set-and-forget process as emissions reporting gets.
