Scope 3 agricultural emissions data: sourced from farms, not estimates.

Scope 3 agricultural data you can actually rely on.
Australia's mandatory climate reporting laws require large businesses to account for Scope 3 emissions from their agricultural supply chains. Ruminati VISION gives banks, processors, retailers and industry bodies a real-time, aggregated view of farm-level emissions data- sourced directly from producers who've chosen to share it.

Frequently asked questions
VISION aggregates emissions data from producers in your supply chain who have consented to share their information with you, including total net emissions, average emissions per farm, emissions intensity across beef, lamb, wool, dairy and grain, the number of farms with a baseline or reduction plan in place, and forecasted emissions reductions over time- all filterable by region, cohort or commodity through an interactive map, so you can identify where engagement is strongest and where there are gaps across your producer network.
Ruminati PRIME is aligned with the Greenhouse Accounting Framework (GAF) standard and draws on local activity data and conversion factors from trusted state, national and international sources, with the platform flagging data that sits outside expected ranges and excluding it from your VISION totals where it appears inaccurate. For sequestration calculations, Ruminati draws on Tier 3 tools including LOOC-C and FULCAM, and the platform's data is classified as Tier 2b under the IPCC framework- and you can see clearly within VISION which farms have completed reports and which are still in progress.
VISION is designed to support your Scope 3 agricultural emissions reporting requirements and help you track progress against sustainability targets including the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) , and you can use the aggregated data to monitor trends across your supply chain, identify where producer engagement needs to improve, and demonstrate collective progress to your own stakeholders. Individual producer data remains under the producer's control at all times, but the aggregated insights from VISION are yours to use in your own reporting. For the full detail on permitted use, see our Terms of Use.
Ruminati PRIME is free for producers and designed to be completed in under 30 minutes using data they already have on hand: producers receive an invitation, create an account, and set their own data sharing permissions before any information flows through to your VISION dashboard. Ruminati also has a growing Partner Network of agronomists, accountants, Landcare groups and other advisors who can support producers through the process directly, which significantly reduces the burden on your team to drive adoption from the supply chain end.
Producers remain in control of their data throughout - they choose who to share with, what level of detail to share, and can revoke access at any time - and from your end, VISION only surfaces data that producers have explicitly consented to share with your organisation. All data is stored within Australia under strict data privacy and cybersecurity protocols, and you can read more in our privacy policy or get in touch at hello@ruminati.com.au if you have specific questions about data governance before getting started.
