Frequently asked questions
With Ruminati VISION, you can view data from producers who’ve provided their direct consent to share their info with you. This includes the ability to view aggregated data on key metrics like total net emissions, average emissions per farm, emissions intensity across grains, beef, lamb, wool, and dairy, and more. You can also see how many farms have a baseline or reduction plan in place and forecasted emissions reductions. Plus, our interactive map lets you break everything down visually and by cohort, so you can explore the data in a way that works for you.
Our goal is to help producers get a clear understanding of their emissions. We use a 'user data entry' approach, meaning accuracy relies on the quality of data entered. The Ruminati PRIME tool flags any data that seems off, and it’ll also notify you in VISION if shared data seems inaccurate and will exclude it from your totals.
We align with the Greenhouse Accounting Framework (GAF) standard, and use local activity data and conversion factors sourced from trusted state, national, and international sources. Ruminati’s data is classified as Tier 2b under the IPCC framework. Our platform also taps into Tier 3 tools like LOOC-C and FULCAM for extra precision, ensuring reliable insights that help support your emissions tracking and reduction strategies.
You can use the data and insights on Ruminati VISION to track agricultural emissions data against set targets including SBTi and the Net Zero Banking Alliance, support your reporting requirements, and develop strategies for reducing emissions.
While you can’t share producers’ individual data with anyone else without their permission, you can use the aggregated data and insights generated by VISION to showcase collective progress and opportunities for improvement within your supply chain.
